chivalry is officially dead!

hey everyone. i hope you all had a nice weekend. i went to the movies on saturday and saw "narnia: the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe". it was soooo good!!! i had to go see it because i remember reading that book when i was in the seventh grade. i ended up going by myself but, that wasn't the plan at first. earlier last week, this dude asked me to go out with him on saturday. i said "okay". we talked about going to the movies to see "narnia" and everything was set up. so how did i end up going by my damn self u ask?? this negro had the nerve to call me on saturday and say "so we gonna meet here right?" i had no idea what he was talking about so i'm like , " what u talking about. meet where?" so he says, " i think u should drive up to alpharetta, because i know the area up here." this is when i make the "what the ..." face. lol. how in the hell are u gonna ask a girl out and then on the day of the date, you ask her to drive up to your house???!!! that is so rude! he talking about how he don't know the area, negro we just going to a 7 dollar movie! this is why i hate dating! negros are so cheap! what ever happened to asking a girl on a date and driving to her house and ringing the doorbell (not sitting in your car honking the horn)! chivalry really is dead.

anyhoo, after he told me to drive to alpharetta ( a 45 minute drive), there was a slight pause for three seconds and then i told him, "ummm...i think i'm going to do something else tonight". lol. what i really wanted to say was kiss my black ass but, that ain't my style. his number got quickly deleted. you are the weaking link...goodbye!

oh i got another story to tell. this happened about a year or two ago. i met this guy and he seemed cool. he asked me can he take me out to a dinner and a movie on saturday. i said, "yeah, that will be cool". now get this... the next thing that comes out his mouth is " ummm, i don't have a car so could u pick me up from the bus station and afterwards drop me off at my house?" again, i have the "no the hell he didn't just trick me" face. lol. that was so shady. i told him i had a call on the other line and i'd call him back. his number got deleted. you are the weakest link...goodbye!

now the biggest problem wasn't that he didn't have a car, but damn..you can't borrow your mama car or something! if he didn't have a car, he should have let it be known before he asked me out. instead, this fool gonna drop the bomb on me after he asked me out. that was shady as hell!

so let me just break it down for the fellas so that it can always and forever be broken. there is absolutely nothing wrong with meeting up with a girl or having her drive to your house to hang out. if yall cool like that , then its all good. however, if it is a first date and YOU asked her out, it is your responsibilty to come to her home and pick her up and pay for the date. if you too cheap to pay for everything and /or pick her up from her house then u need to let that be known beforehand and not a few hours before you guys were suppose to go out. some appropriate ways to hang out with the girl without coming out your pocket is to say, " hey (insert name), would you like to meet up at the movie theater and see (insert movie title) on saturday". right then, u let her know that you ain't pickin her ass up! or you could say, " hey (insert name), i really want to check out the food at this restaurant up the street. how about u drive up here, and i'll pay for the meal. cool?" see, that wasn't that bad was it. just let the girl know up front what the deal is. thats all i ask. alright i'm done with my seminar. lol. be blessed.
