A Life Worth Living

i'm really getting old. my niece just graduated from high school and i'm so proud of her! she looks older than me. lol. i'm just so glad that she grew up to be a nice, classy young lady (her mother is a little hood-ish). speaking of her mother, why did she not come to her first born child's graduation? that is so shady. anyhoo, my aunt, uncle, and cousins came down for the festivities. we had a graduation party for her and she displayed all of her artwork (the girl can draw)!


in other news, i'm still single. i just started reading a book titled "what to do until love finds you". you know you are becoming the old lady in the shoe when you start buying self-help books. lol. naw, i'm joking...kinda. however, i do believe love will find me oneday. i believe that God talks to us through our intuition we just have to listen. my intuition tells me that i will be married oneday, but he does not live in the state of Georgia. lol. i know that sounds weird, but thats the feeling i get. i still plan on moving come january and i'm getting more anxious each day closer. my intuition also tells me i'm going to have 3 boys and they all are going todo extraordinary things. okay.... so thats what every parent believe about their kid, but so do i. lol.

i'm also very excited about traveling. the plan is to travel to a different destination overseas every year starting in 2009. my coworker told me about this fabulous tour group called Trafalagar Tours. she goes on a trip every year alone but she feels safer because she's in a group. i really want to go to jerusalem, so we'll see.

Amerykahn Promise

i know i've been gone for a minute. alot of shyt went down between now and my last blog. the semester is over so i'm just working for the summer. i'm still set to graduate in dec 2008 and i still plan on moving in january.

well, (trying to keep the story short) i got a bullshyt azz ticket and had to goto court to defend myself and i learned alot about the justice system. i learned that: 1) if you don't have money, you are automatically seen as guilty. in ameriKKKa, you can buy your freedom if you got money. which is why people who have committed serious crimes that affect thousand of people such as the enron ceo & associate don't serve a day, but the 19yr girl who was driving someone else's car which had coke in it, got sentenced to 25years in jail and had a 1 million dollar bail set (true story). tell me if thats fair? if you can't afford a lawyer, you're just shyt out of luck. 2)you are guilty until proven innocent. this stupid azz cop had no evidence against me and even lied on the ticket which i proved. she gonna say she assumed i did it. since when can cops give out tickets/arrest people on what u assume happened? thats bullshyt! the moment i stood up there, i was already seen as guilty. i never had a chance.3) you need to know your rights. alot of us are naive to our rights. when the cop walked up to me, i didn't know what was going on. she just walked up to me asking questions, and i'm looking all confused. in the words of former dc mayor marion barry "bitch, set me up"! the way that ish went down was not cool. a cop can just make up anything about you and you will be found guilty. i'm already conviced that most assholes grow up to become cops. i know about the stories in the news (cop killing the groom, cop killing the 92yr old woman),but now that i witness it, i don't trust cops and i don't trust the justice system.

in lighter news, i think i bought more cds this year then in the last 10 years. i am crazzzzzyyy about this new guy that i discovered recently. his name is vikter duplaix and his 'bold & beautiful' album is the ish! i absolutely love it so if you haven't heard of him check him out. his music speaks to me. i think he's my soulmate. lol

my other favorite albums that i bought include: teedra moses, janet jackson, erykah badu, danity kane. i'm gonna get usher's new one and rahbi album. i hardly ever buy cds. i must be feelin the music lately.

i'm also going to disney world june 18th-june 21st. yay! lol. my dad is taking me, my brothers, and my six nieces/nephews there and paying for everything. i'm such a big kid. i love rollercoasters. i'll be sure to bring back lots of pictures.


as far as date life? no comment. i could talk about a dude, but more than likely i won't be talking to him next week so i'm not gonna waste space here. lol.
